no intelligent design no intelligence.

Without intelligent design there would be no source of human intelligence.
we are a product of an intelligent system of being. Intelligence is a constant that is an essential element of the structure of functional reality.

The leaf and the butterfly

There is more to life than meets the eyes. From observation, we observe that there are things that are random and things that are ordered. There is a great deal of difference between a leaf that is blown in the wind and a butterfly that directs its path. An airplane is obviously designed and we know who designs it. The butterfly is equally designed but who designed it is not so obvious. Chaos is the opposite to design. If you want continuity, design, purpose and function it is necessary to make it so. That is a fact of intelligent reality.

Chicken First, Then Egg

Greetings,
I agree that the chicken came first. An egg has to be fertilized in order to produce a chicken. There has to exist a chicken DNA in order to produce a chicken.
That means that there had to be a system to program a DNA which means that there must be a programmer to program the DNA. Now we are back to the fact that it takes an intelligent entity to create the system that creates a chicken. It is either that or the male and female chickens appeared like magic. Strange but true, there is a whole system creating form and function from random chaos.

Reason Provides Reasonable Things.

The reason for doing things is to provide things and situations that are the product of reason. Inversely if you have situations and things that are functional, they are the product of reason.
If things are done for reasons, they are not random. They are intentional and therefore require intelligent intent. This is a truism.
There are many reasons to understand that reason is a basic function of reality.
We do not live in a systemless, random existence. We live in a world of order and functional experience.

Testing Intelligent Design

The best test for Intelligent Design is to plant an apple seed and when you get an apple tree and not some other tree, it becomes obvious that the seed has been programmed to produce an apple tree that produces apples. If it was a random occurance the seed could produce anything from cherries to coconuts or maybe
even a person. We depend on intelligent design to provide a functional reality.

Intelligent Design = intelligent Reality

Intelligent Design

Intelligent design is an essential element of reality. Without it there would be only chaos. Transforming random sub-atomic particles into functional physical reality is a major creative achievement. Another major creative achievement is creating living beings with the intelligence to understand and use reality to their advantage. Neither of these systems are perfect but they are a whole lot better than the next best thing.

Intelligent people realize that it takes intelligence to create a functional universe. Science is based on observation. It is obvious from observation that nature is just as intelligent as people when it comes to creating a functional environment that is consistent with people's needs and desires. Intelligence is a constant. It is the ability to understand what function is and apply it. Even plants understand where the sun is and how to move into the sun. Science is missing the most important attribute of nature its intelligent and functional design. Science without an open mind is not science.
